If you’re facing financial hardship and are unable to repay your VA debt due to a natural disaster, there are relief options available.

Temporary Debt Suspensions

Veterans and beneficiaries who need a suspension of benefit debt can reach out to the VA Debt Management Center through the Ask VA portal at https://ask.va.gov (choose the Veterans Affairs-Debt category) or by calling 800-827-0648.

For suspending medical care and pharmacy copayment debts, contact the Health Resource Center at 866-400-1238.
